DOCUMENT OF UNDERSTANDING FOR PRESENTERS

This outlines our guidelines for presenters and what you can expect from our club in the way of support.

OWEC:
We will support you in the following manner:

• Crackers, cheese, pate and fruit will be beautifully presented at each table along with spittoons, pitchers of water and stemmed wine glasses
• We will draw names from attending members that evening, to be pourers in assisting the presenter
• Provide a microphone and screen for your use in case of a slide show presentation
• Provide ice if needed for chilling white wines

PRESENTERS:
Requirements from the presenter:

• Present six varieties of wine
• Provide a list of the wines that will be presented - product and pricing and a brief blurb on the winery - three weeks before the presentation - this will allow us to advertise your presentation to full advantage on our website
• Provide a sufficient number of order forms for our members and guests
• Provide a $50 voucher or gift certificate that can be used on a wine order for that presentation
• Supply items such as T-shirts, hats, bottle openers, wine bags etc. that can be used as raffle prizes
• Arrive by 6:30 at St. Volodymyr’s Cultural Centre for set up on the night of the presentation
• After each pouring and discussing each wine, allow sufficent time for members to talk amongst themselves
