Rosewood Bistro Photo Gallery “I laughed, I cried, it became part of me “ -Jim Connell - Ancaster “The feel good event of the season” -Janet Brannen “Two Thumbs Up” -    Siskel and Hebert It is not often when an anticipated event lives up to the aspirations of the planners, but last weeks dinner at the Rosewood Bistro was a notable exception.   Each of the 6 courses was prepared to perfection and provided a gastronomic potpourri to delight the senses.  Quail, beef and veal in combination with lobster mushroom risotto, ravioli, and butternut squash ensured that there was something for every taste. The wine pairing’s were also exceptional with a wide selection (and generous pouring) of excellent vintage California Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.  Service was also outstanding with our sommelier pointing out the nuances of each wine while our servers entertained and pampered us. Suffice it to say, members and guests were very pleased with the evening and the consensus was that the event was a tremendous success and afforded excellent value.
