Our annual outdoor dinner and tasting will be presented by Burning Kiln Winery, Highlander Brewery, and Barra Fion Restaurant. Doors open at 6pm. with dinner between 6:30 and 7:30. The guided tasting will begin at 7:45. Guests may attend at a cost of $35. (Prepaid only, contact the Club).

Angels Gate Winery
The winery opened in 2002 with the goal of producing Niagara’s finest wines. Since then, we have won numerous awards. We continue to produce excellent wines and provide friendly, knowledgeable service. The estate property was purchased in 1995. The first grapes were planted in 1996, and were ready to be harvested in 1999. Our first vintage was 2000 and yielded a very small production of only three wines. We now produce 35,000 cases annually. Our “mission” style building was designed to commemorate the Congregation of Christian Sisters who once owned the property. Look for our distinct gables and the tower - elements typical in a mission-style building.

Our tasting on October 25th will be a truly unique experience. We are doing an experiment to see the effect that music has on the wine tasting experience. The study will be done by Alan Cross. He is a renowned musicologist and hosts a number of radio shows and podcasts. He is most well9 known for his show "The Ongoing History of Modern Music".

Oxley Estate Winery is nestled on 38 acres in the heart of the Lake Erie North Shore wine route, in Harrow, Ontario, Canada. Our vineyards are blessed with long, sunny days, light lake breezes, and rich sandy loam soil over a limestone ridge about 30 feet down. We grow Riesling, Chardonnay, Auxerrois, Bianca, Hibernal, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, and Regent, the German wunderkind, – a fruity, light-bodied red.
